Norse Legends & Voyage is one of HAL's better cruises if you enjoy scenery, walking in ports, and lots of daylight.

The ship was great, handled the seas well and not too big. Be prepared for lots of churches and castles. Give enough time for flight connections in and out of Stockholm, flights out seem to be frequently delayed or cancelled(multiple airlines)

Drinks on board and excursions in ports were more expensive than other ships. This seemed to be more of a party ship than I expected.

The bath towels were beautiful with nice embroidery, but, it was like drying with a piece of carpet!!!

This was our 11th cruise and the first on HAL. We were impressed with the cruise line and we loved the itinerary. The ship isn’t new but it’s elegant and classic. I love that it has a promenade deck. Our cabin was quiet and comfortable with a surprising amount of storage space.

Norwegian Breakway is poorly managed with hostile guest service managers. A total nightmare trip with this ship.

This was an excellent cruise. The ship, crew, food and ports were all that could be desired. Weather didn't always cooperate but what do you expect on a North Sea cruise. Our cabin was the best and everything we asked of the crew was provided promptly and warmly. The food could not be topped anywhere--on land or at sea.

Enjoyed almost everything. Very large ship but many restaurants and clubs to choose from. SAS flight over was not the best--hot and crowded cabin. Return flight very good.

The cruise was great. Packed with shore trips. Food was fine. Dining rooms were nice. Buffet was great with specials coinciding with the ports. The nickel and diming is not fun though. The Princess cruise was a better schedule with better food.

Overall, the cruise is excellent but NCL doesn't pay attention to minor things which subtract highly from the cruise experience. For example, the chat application is buggy plus you have to pay for it which makes it difficult to communicate with others. The drinks package doesn't include water, specialty coffees and fresh juices which is ridiculous. The food quality is "OK" and crew not as willing to accommodate minor changes.

Having sailed with Holland-America before, we knew the clientele would be older and so we were prepared for the walkers, wheelchairs, and even for the old folk who seem to find disagreement in any and everything. Consequently, it is the professionalism of the Holland-America staff that impresses us to no end. Furthermore, the ship is magnificent, the culinary offerings terrific, and the itinerary superb. Truthfully, if you have a lousy time on this ship it is most likely of your own making.

Only thing that went wrong was trying to get Taxi after disembarkation. REALLY BAD!!!

overall the ship is adequate and the crew is good, but the sofa bed in the stateroom was terrible

The only problem I had was the excursions that said they where mild and moderate in st sperersburg whqhere strenuous. 8 to 10 miles of walking when we where told about 1.25 miles of walking. I found descriptions on every excursion we where on was not accurate. But Russia was the tough day

Had a few problems with the main dining room food. Cabins were clean. The shows were very poor. The speaker was very good. Did not know St. Petersburg was so cold and dark 300 days a year.

Norway is incredible and the cruise is what you make of it. Sure there were lines for dinner at times.. so go later or go somewhere else! There were options, after all. Norwegian dropped the ball a bit on this one but it didn’t ruin our fun. The crew tried hard all the way through. We have been on a number of cruises and there were things that were better and worse with each one. Most of the ‘worse’ with this one had to do with other passengers who could have minded their manners a little better.

The ports were great and everyone will love Norway. We thought the food was just ok and liked about 1/2 of the shows with the dancing and the band. The rest were sort of slow.

Excellent trip visiting countries I'd never seen before. I only wish it could have been longer!

Such a great way to be introduced to the Baltic area! St. Petersburg was incredible. We went with a private small tour with us the six of us in our party, well worth it! The onboard staff was very attentive. Meals were great!

Overall a good cruise experience -- we loved all the ports-of-call on this cruise...amazing cities. Regal Princess is nice boat in good shape overall...and the quality of food/service in the restaurants is top notch. My biggest complaint is that services pertaining to the upgrades that usually accompany purchasing a suite were sorely lacking: no spa access, so sanctuary access, room service "specials" were pretty basic, disembarkation process was sorely lacking -- we had to carry our own suitcases because we didn't want to get off with the hordes...which would never have happened as a suite purchaser with Norwegian...who had a special disembarkation process for suites, etc. I will likely stick with Norwegian in the future...whenver I splurge for a suite...or go for Viking or other more upscale provider. Suite pricing and service on Princess not worth it.
