Decent Cruise to Western Caribbean by Illinois1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Armonia / Destination: Cuba

The cruise ship staff did an excellent job for the curve ball they were handed. We had fun but just don't think the decision to only get a $400 credit per room was fair for not going to the main trip destination. It especially wasn't fair for people that booked suites and spent $4000+.

The service at the restaurant was terrible. The entertainment was great. Overall the experience wasn't what we expected.

Pretty decent cruise by mklefty81isback

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Sky / Destination: Cuba

Overall is was great. Could’ve used more signs and map because the layout is a little confusing. Basic medical needs should be including without extra fee. I needs antibacterial ointment and a band aide and they to wanted to charge me for it. Bandaids and one-time use packets of ointment are not supposed to be for resale. That is wrong.

Relaxing vacation on beautiful NCL Sun by dcathey74834800

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Norwegian Sun / Destination: Cuba

This was my first time cruising with NCL. I plan to do it again. NCL provided good service and top notch hospitality to its customers.

Not Cuba by ofdwalker

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Sun / Destination: Cuba

The biggest deal was no Cuba. Although this was not NCLs fault they could have chosen better ports. Nassau and Freeport are not destinations I would choose. We only went because of the refund and the 50% off future cruise. This was not the case only 50% of this cruise applied to a future cruise. I went expecting basically buy one get one free. So with port charges and gratuities I would have saved another $350 if I had stayed home.

Worst Cruise Ever by roxanne28348

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Sensation / Destination: Cuba

I was not pleased with Carnival Sensation as soon as we boarded, our room was small and smelled musty, sheets and towels were dingy, food was mediocre, activities were scarce WiFi was weak and the ship itself was old and not updated

Low Key Caribean Cruise by robynemestel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Armonia / Destination: Cuba

Overall, our experience was very positive on the MSC Armonia. One of the reasons I chose it was that it was very competitively priced, however the trade off was their response to not being able to go to Cuba. Larger, more established cruise lines were able to compensate their passengers much more fairly than the MSC could (or chose to). That said the service, food, and cabins are excellent.

Cuba 2019 by cms1909

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Empress of the Seas / Destination: Cuba

Excellent cruise to Cuba. Our second and had already booked the third. Unfortunately trump blocked all Cuba cruises while we were there. The country is beautiful. The people amazing and surprisingly very unhappy with their government. They love Americans. Lots of free enterprise since 2016, People are taxed but allowed to have small restaurants, cafes, shops. Greatest security. Safest . Great food. Old Havana is like traveling to the 1950s. No communist propaganda. Will have to travel from a third country now. Canada to Cuba cruises

Havana was great by noname99999

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Empress of the Seas / Destination: Cuba

It was a great cruise to Havana. It was more for us about the port than the ship. Empress of the Seas is an older ship, the food was just ok in all restaurants. The service throughout the ship was excellent. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Old Ship, Sub Par Crew...Havana was great! by LONDON35980096

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Empress of the Seas / Destination: Cuba

Empress of the Seas should be decommissioned for remodeling. It needs an overhaul in the dining areas, as well the staterooms. If and when travel to Cuba is restored from US ports, you should skip the stops in Florida and go straight to Havana. Allow people a minimum of 2 nights.

Overall Great Trip/Cruise by maximisacd

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Armonia / Destination: Cuba

Overall, we enjoyed the Armonia staff and food. Very well organized. Website is poor and gives misinformation as do the customer service people we called. Only need one excursion in Cuba to get off the boat. After that you could follow a tour guide and do the old city yourself.

Great cruise!! by mak9494

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Sun / Destination: Cuba

We've cruised dozens of times before. Even though a smaller ship, perfect for a 4 day cruise. Enjoyed it as much as the fabulous huge RCL ships. It was so refreshing to see female cruise director, comedian, and much of the staff! A whole, new, delightful experience

Decent Cruise by britneyw8657660

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Empress of the Seas / Destination: Cuba

Overall, the cruise was relaxing and fun but I will never again sail on the Empress of the Seas. If you can make the best of the smell of the ship and the lack luster entertainment, it can be a very relaxing trip.

My 1st cruise! by watkinsky

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Majesty of the Seas / Destination: Cuba

Loved it and looking forward to cruise #2! Everything went well. Cruise staff was helpful and friendly! I'm sad for the people that won't get to experience the cruise to Cuba because of the travel ban effective today. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Terrible Internet Services by slin20042000

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Armonia / Destination: Cuba

Havana is a great city. All interested places are in walking distance. Don't order Historical Architectures tour and Vintage cars tour. You can walk by yourself around those historical city site. Vintage cars are everywhere. You pay less and get better ride on shore by yourself.
