Would recommend, highly. Good cruise with a great crew and upgraded ship and yummy food!

Overall a good time but not spectacular for the most part - food was good but not amazing, and the amenities were good but nothing outstanding.

Tired ship buffet bad bland. Whole suckling pig for Eve entree???

This was my first cruise which I completely enjoyed from the first day to the last. There was plenty of entertainment, food, beverages, lounging areas, bars. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to sail again!!

Curious line is good, relaxing after Disneyland. Kids club’s organization is poor. Food is excellent and activities are fun.

This was a repositioning cruise with three sea days, just a relaxing cruise.

We've been on 2 Royal Caribbean Cruises and this was our first with Princess. Overall we would go with either again and enjoyed this enough to put a deposit on a future cruise. They do a Military Personnel Onboard Credit Program, which we appreciated, since my husband is retired military. Internet worked well enough for us, our water packages were waiting for us in our room, but my husband might not get the soda package again on Princess, based on how inconvenient it was to use. The ship experience was nice to have a bigger ship that had been recently remodeled, since our last cruise with Royal was a smaller and much older ship. However, on this ship with Princess, twice we had toilets stop working in our room for a few hours. This was a problem on two floors the first time and I don't know how widespread the 2nd time, but at least a few rooms were affected by it the 2nd time. They did fix them within a few hours, but definitely not an ideal situation.

Had a good time, delicious food. Ship just moved way too much for my liking.

Overall I did enjoy myself. It was nice to get away. Great food great excursions I would recommend this cruise for anyone.

We will do this cruise again. It’s perfect and fun especially for California residents.

I didn’t know what to expect and thought I was just not gonna fit in.... WRONG!!! I fit in because EVERYONE is family. Great experience.

In my experience, Princess is a gamble. You may get great service or it could be awful. This trip was very good and I have no complaints at all!

Princess Ruby is a nice ship and does food the correct way. The afternoon tea was very nice touch. The main problem with the curise is half the staff was great and half was not very good. The other problem that might keep us off the ship in the future is I am 59 years old and felt the music and activities were geared for people older than me. An example is their Rock and Roll Trivia as 50's rock and roll. I expected Rock and Roll to be 60's and 70's at the latest. The late night club music had the same problem. Thier activities were mainly trivia, bingo and art auctions. It would have been nice to have activies for people between 20 and 60. If you want a cruise to relax and eat this is the one for you. If you want things to do this is not the cruise for you.

Enjoyed the family time but wish the food was better. Beware of the buffet food poisoning sucks!

I really enjoyed this trip. My husband and I took his parents and his aunt. Last cruise for his parents and first cruise for his aunt!

Pleasant getaway with near perfect weather. Good time had by all.

Fun and filling we went on a quick getaway for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and had a great time on the boat. Santa Barbara has lots of shopping.

This was a good cruise. I wish we had done 7 days instead of 5. OUr room was great , We tried some fun new things including massages and acupuncture. Overall a pretty good time especially if you love prime rib like we do.
