Great trip! Terrific ports! by alamode35

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

Great itinerary! Astoria, Oregon surprised us because it was so interesting. We chose sites to see on our own. We would have liked a few more hours in San Francisco on our 2nd day there because we felt rushed. We went to Sonoma on our own the 1st day, had lunch in a lovely garden cafe, and walked over to Sebastiani Winery for a wine tasting. We took a ferry to Sausalito on the 2nd day and would have liked to spend more time there. Check the ferry schedule on line before you go to Sausalito. It probably would have been better to take an Uber from the ship because the shuttle to the ferry never came and we wasted time waiting for it. We took Celebrity’s excursion to Butchart Gardens in Victoria and it was beautiful, and the guide was very interesting. After we disembarked in Vancouver, we stayed at the Century Plaza for 2 days and did the dual pass Hop On, Hop Off Bus. Vancouver is a beautiful city and we saw a lot.

The Solstice is a very nice ship and we loved the crew, especially our cabin attendant (Imade) and our dining room team of Wid, Tami and Josep.

Great cruise by mmaio

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

Princess Cruises is a very elegant, organized company. The Coral Princess was beautiful, well maintained and the crew and staff and very friendly and helpful. Entertainment if exceptional. I was very impressed and would definitely consider another cruise on this cruise line.

This is second time reviewing this Cruise for United. The run did not go to Santa Cruz at all. The main destination is the great ship and all its’ venues. So many choices of activities. The best for us was cruising and enjoying the Crystal

Ship: Celebrity Infinity / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

Overall good. Organized, efficient, well run. Blu dining room - sloe, noisy, crowded in. having Elite status and aqua class, many little nicities - flowers, several Celebrity bags, invitations to meet senior officers, tea, nightly free drinks.

A solid cruise with great staff. Fairly simple ship layout. Could do with some more activities. Loved the thelassotherapy pool by lwew796

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Infinity / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

One thing I really like about this ship is the thelassotherapy mineral pool which is complimentary and the sauna in the locker room with a big round window that looks out on the waves. Be aware that they are always trying to get you to upgrade to the 'pay' restaurants. Also, the times in port that are advertised are often shortened. Great activity and cruise director and general staff.

Perfect Family Vacation by ValleyMom

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

This is the perfect way to travel with kids. We were able to take the kids to the Oceaneer Club so we could have 'date' night on the ship. It was the first time in years that we could have a nice dinner with the kids; the staff was so good at entertaining them so they didn't get bored. I would highly recommend a Disney cruise for families with children! The shows were awesome and a hit with everyone in our family. We even got to 'sneak' in a movie!

First Time, High Seas by Jayboy66

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Emerald Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

We both had treatments at the Spa. The service and treatments were great. But everyone at the spa tried to aggressively up sell or upgrade everything. It was quite off putting. And a simple No Thanks was followed with additional upgrade or upsell requests. It really diminished an overall great experience. The unlimited drink cards caused confusion and weren’t consistent how they were applied or what was available.

Short but fun Repositioning Cruise by mccabe18

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

After looking for a short getaway, our travel agent recommended this four-day repositioning cruise. At first we weren't sure because it was 2 days at sea and we're not big fans of sea days, but it was a great price and we were anxious to give Princess a try. What a great idea! We loved it. The ship is beautiful, the staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and even the entertainment was more fun than we expected. I'm pretty sure the ship was at or near capacity but never once did we feel crowded or annoyed at other people. In fact, we met a few new friends from all over the world (Canada, Australia, Florida).

Great Girls Weekend by SIpema

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Eurodam / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

Ship had been recently renovated we heard, we were pleased with our room. Lots of storage and the bathroom was bigger than I expected (it had a tub). Food was good, Dive-In burgers were amazing. Pizza on the back deck was also very good. We had a great time.

Spring Break 2018 by kimrasner

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

We cruise quite often, but this is our first Princess cruise. The passengers were older. We had our teenage daughters for spring break. The teen club would not let the 18 year old in even though she is a senior just like the 17 year old. They have a 15 drink limit on the drink package, but wont give you credit if not consumed on other days. They also won't give you pop with the drink passages unless it comes out of the fountain. They have very limited fountain choices. The ship was clean but dated.

RELAXING SAIL by vburg92802

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

It was a delightful and restful cruise; and I look forward to another in the future. We had sailed on Princess before; but there was no record of it, and no one is going to keep their Cruise Card for each cruise forever. I find it hard to be loyal when the cruise line does not even keep a database of who was on a Princess cruise previously.

Star Princess - Big Disappointment by kpups

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

Chose this cruise because of the price and also because we had never sailed on Princess. you get what you pay for - I've done the coastal sailing on other lines and because there were very limited port stops, they seemed to do everything possible to make the activities on-board as interesting and exciting as possible. Also - even if you didn't want to do any activities, the food on most other cruise lines gave you something to look forward to. We ate on Princess because we were hungry - not because the food was great - it wasn't.

From the time we boarded to the time we left, we were treated like royalty. There was not one bad experience on this trip. It exceeded all of my expectations.
