Caribbean - Bahamas Cruise Reviews

This is a classic case of bait and switch. They know in advance the weather will be bad but instead of canceling the cruise, they will take you to wherever and charge you for what you didn’t sign up for. We wanted to go to the Bahamas and key west cruise and went to neither.

First, they took my Beer at security, minus $15, then they took my small pocketknife that's been in my family for $50 years. Then the baggage guy put my wives CPAP back into the truck of the car instead of on baggage cart. I'm guessing he thought it was my laptop, and thought since I didn't tip him, he'd keep me from having my laptop, but know he kept us worried that it was lost on the boat for two days, because our luggage didn't get to our room until after 10pm. Every bar tender charged gratuity on every drink bought. So, why is there a gratuity option to pay up front? That was $128 that was added to my bill. Every waiter coming around shoving drinks in our face trying to get us to buy, even at dinner table. Kids, there was an announcement telling people to keep an eye on their kid with green bracelets, but they ran all over the ship unattended, stayed in the hot tubs 24/7, and got plates of food that weren't eaten. If I wanted to babysit, I'd have brought my kids. Room Staff Excellent. Comedy, there was only one real comedian. I thought theses ships had shows? Casino, the smoke was so bad, I was able to watch for a while, my wife not at all. Sports, one bar with 50 of us trying to watch football and relax, use the other rooms to project football and maybe you'll sale more drinks, and apps.

Our cruise felt like a huge disappointment. After spending thousands of dollars and months of planning, all our ports were cancelled. We spent 1 day on land and 4 days at sea. The same things happened to Carnival and they immediately gave all the passengers $200 onboard credit, 50% off the next cruise and more activities to make their stay at sea more bearable. While Royal Caribbean did nothing. We visited guest services to see about accommodations and we were met with resistance and staff that didn’t care. Very very disappointing especially since I suggested my friends to not go on Carnival and try Royal Caribbean. Such a waste.

I usually cruise Royal. Wanted to try a short Celebrity Cruise to see if we would like it. We loved it. From the ship to the food to the way the crew pivoted because of the bad weather and brought us to a wonderful stop with Sunshine and kept the ship from the rain for most of the trip it was all amazing. I missed towel animals, and I don't like the way Celebrity does the Elite Class Happy Hour. I wish they would do it like Royal and just add the drinks to your card. Otherwise...I loved it and will go back asap! Can't wait to try other Celebrity Ships!

Bad weather so left after 1 day. Nothing else to add

Cruise in Liberty was very nice but unfortunately weather was too rough to dock in coco cay (2nd time in a year). We are returning for 3rd in a couple of weeks so 3’s a charm 🤞. Entertainment is great but ship needs a refresh.

Great entertainment. Food was not as good as other RC cruises we've been on so we were a little disappointed with this cruise.

Not new to cruising but was first time on RC. Allure was amazing. Great value for the money. Rating should be higher but Nassau drags it down.

The cruise was relaxing and the grand suite was nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Overall trip was good, food was great! Would not sign up for the VIP service. Not really worth it for me. Helped for check in, and could choose the latest check out, but that's about it.

The weather put a damper on my first cruise. I was unable to enjoy the beaches like I imagined. The weather was so rocky a few of my family members became ill. It rained so much that the outside decks were cold, windy, and wet. It was so crowded and common areas due to the weather outside being so bad. I'm a little surprised that Carnival would plan a trip in that type of weather

Very Great experience . at MSC Magnifica,food was great, very clean, staff at all level were helpfull,it was they took care of vegeterian food for us during lunch & dinner at Quattro Restaurant.Mr. Mehta & his associates arranged for us (3 couples) Indian Vegeterian food, feel like home away from home. Thanks

This was my first cruise and I couldn’t be more impressed. Even though, it was raining and we couldn’t visit Biminy, the days at sea were very pleasant and relaxing. Celebrity Cruises will be my top choice in the future

Terrible cruise overall. Food and shows were lacking. If it weren’t for us being in a big group, we would’ve had an awful time. Being with friends and family made it tolerable. Half moon cay was the best day out of the 7 days we cruised. The days at sea were the worst since there was nothing to do..couldn’t go to the pool because the weather was terrible most days. The service from the waiters was the worst I’ve experienced in all of my cruising days. They were not friendly and seemed annoyed when ordering dinner so we ended up doing the buffet most nights because we didn’t feel comfortable at our sit down.

I will NEVER cruise out of Baltimore again and I will NEVER again cruise aboard Carnival Legend! Others may not express their disdain, but I had commentary with many couples who expressed the same sentiment as I.
