We had an amazing time! The staff were exceptional, shows were amazing, the balcony room was perfect for us. We took a couple of excursions - very recommended! We saw whales, Bald eagles, sunbathed in Glacier Bay! We met wonderful interesting people. It is a well managed, efficient, clean beautiful Ship. We were very proud to sail on her. We booked our next cruise for twice as long because we didn’t want it to end.

This was by far, the BEST ship and vacation my family has ever been on.

It was a nice cruise, having booked at the last minute, our cabin had an obstructed view, but at least it wasn't completely obstructed. The next time, we will book in time to get a cabin with a balcony or at least a non-obstructed view! With 3 dining rooms, and all the other places to eat, getting a table at anytime dining was easy. Disembarkation was super organized and easy; perhaps the best we've ever experienced.

Great trip. Foreigners are super rude - jump in front if you , cut you off , guess normal for them cause they nearly all do it. Other than that all was well - shows were first class. Balcony room aaa worth it - saw bears , whales , otters, seals, etc

We truly enjoyed this cruise. The weather was great - no rain, and all the tours were excellent. The only drawback was that Holland America used to have a midnight "chocolate extravaganza," which was always one of the mini highlights of the cruise. It was done at midnight in the buffet with all kinds of different chocolates and fruit carvings. It truly was art in the form of chocolate. Unfortunately, this has been stopped and replaced with a walk thru on one deck by waiters carrying trays of chocolate tipped marshmallows, brownies, and cookies. It was very crowded and somewhat disappointing from what we had expected and briefed our family members on. I do not know why it was discontinued as it was always very popular on the previous cruises we had taken on Holland America.

Great cruise...but the promised short excursion was fake news...read the fine print!!! Cruise.com listed Holland American Line as the vendor, but on board no body knew of the bonus short excursion offer, at the end I was holding the bag with the rotten eggs (worth $150); the Guest Service office on the ship stonewalled me, gave me no written proof that I had talked to them...just a huge disappointment!!

Everything was top-notch, we couldn't have been happier in hindsight. If I were forced to find a flaw, it might have been that the room we had was a bit small for a family of 4. But that was more a question of availability.

Excellent staff and service. Everything was smooth.

5 Stars does not make justice to the kind services from the staff and servers in all the departments of the ship. Everyone was so respectful, caring and friendly it was unbelievable. The views, excursions, and ports were all nice. It was a perfect vacation to disconnect and really enjoy. It was probably the beat vacations I have had.

Disappointed we missed the inside passage route home. Had a great time on our first cruise and look forward to our next cruise ;-)

Overall this cruise was excellent. We took our 3 kids, their spouses, and our 3 G-kids. They are all still talking about it. The absolutely best trip we have had as a group of 11. Pam Bratcher-our trip planner from America Airlines did an excellent job booking all of the travel plans for us. A huge high 5 to her. We will all remember this trip forever and ever.

Wonderful Breathtaking Not enough time in Juneau - went whale watching didn't see city Skagway - Didn't book train in time - it was sold out Didn't plan an excursion in Victoria so I didn't go downtown

honestly wish we wouldnt have spent so much on this trip it was NOT worth it ...worst value we have EVER encountered on a vacation

This was a great cruise and i had an amazing time with family and friends. The entertainment was awesome and the service was unparalleled. Good food was also at the top of my list! Thanks for the great hospitality and for providing my family with the opportunity to experience, make and remember lasting memories for years to come!

We really enjoyed our cruise. Our family of 5 had connecting rooms and it was perfect. We really liked how they did the connecting rooms. The service in the dining room was superb......the service at many of the ships bars was very disappointing unfortunately. We loved the Celebrity Singers and Dancers and thought the shows were a lot of fun and the theater is fantastic. Bingo was great too. Oh, and Captain Tasos is the BEST captain. He was very funny and entertaining!

Poor customer service....For the amount of money you are paying for the cruise, some things should be free. 140.00 a week for WiFi that barely worked. Watered down drinks. Dining room food was disappointing.. First and last time sailing with Royal Caribbean.

Explorer is a good ship with an excellent crew. Alaska is always a great destination.

Great experience and largely due to the interaction, attentiveness and personalized approached on behalf of the staff.

Love the food excellent dining , the crew help is fantastic, balcony state room is the way to see sights from ship
