Norwegian Escape
If you're going to the buffet try to go at non-peak times. Especially for breakfast!! Before 9:00 if possible.
We only got off the ship to do our snorkeling excursion. We have been to this port in the past. There is easy access to town and shopping.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas
The weather conditions did not allow tendering service. We continued to Nassau
We did a kayaking tour. The port was much like any other port. Nothing special.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
We did a zip line excursion. It was a long bus ride to get to the location but the guides were very informative and we had a great time.
We did not do an excursion, but have visited this area in the past. If time allow to do an excursion, the everglades are amazing
Our excursion was cancelled due to weather and we chose to spend the day on the ship
We did a cave excursion on the mainland. The ferry is a rough ride, but we were made aware of it on our tickets. The excursion was one of the best I've ever been on. Very interesting and different. The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgable. We left wanting to do research on the area.
We did not spend any time on Harvest Caye. We did river tubing which involved a boat trip then a bus ride to get to our excursion. It was worth it though. The tubing was relaxing and our guide was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The iguana's were jumping from tree to tree along the river. Pretty cool
Norwegian Getaway
If you want a lounge chair in the pool area, get there early! Avoid some of the crowds in the buffet by going to the dining rooms. The food is great and you don't have to dodge people to get to it!
