We started the day of the cruise with lunch with a friend at the Yard House. The food was excellent and we couldn't have asked for better weather. When we returned, after we left the ship we went over to the Queen Mary and explored the history of the ship which was pretty amazing

Easy embarkation, parking was good right by the terminal but it fills up fast.

Not much to see in Long Beach since both the Queen Mary and Ports o Call village have both closed. Even the ratty LB hotels are very expensive.

It’s an easy port to get in and out of. If doing self parking maybe a park and ride is easier or stay at hotel with shuttle
