It took almost two hrs to get to the Getty and we were only able to stay about two hrs. We were told that the Getty takes three days and we got two hrs. Then told that Rodeo Drive doesn’t like tourists and we have to park blocks away. The info for the excursion should have said we would only have two hrs and that the slide was two hrs.

Long beach is a very simple port to get to just follow the fwy signs and it takes you straight there. Parking is a multi level covered and is like 15-20 $ per day. Queen mary is there next to the carnival port and is really a classy old ship. Ship entry is easy and quick.

We like the Long Beach process of checking in, we have always had FTTF. I like getting my sail and sign card before getting on. In Galveston the pot it at your door when the room is ready, I don't like that. The lines at Long Beach look long, I've never waited in them though.
