So many excellent restaurant choices. My favorite was the Conch Republic Seafood. Strongly recommend to rent a motor bike, to cover the island in it's entirety.

Key West is always fun. Do it on your own, or do the on and off trolley.

Nice little seaside town. Do not miss the Key Lime Pie Co. fantastic staff making, serving and selling the best pie you will ever eat. Really sad the residents of Key West recently voted to TRY to take the only private pier available for cruise ships away. I’m sure this is a place I would have visited on my own but not now.

Our first port of call was Key West, from 7:30am to 1:30pm. We had breakfast at the buffet, which was good, lines moved very quickly, and the service was good. We had no shore excursions booked, so we decided to explore the city on our own. We exited the ship around 8am, and we wanted to take a picture at the Southernmost Point statue. There are free buses/trolleys in Key West but my husband and I decided to walk, it took us around 20mins. It’s a beautiful walk, lots of beautiful houses, and watch out for the chickens!!! It was Halloween week during this cruise, and the Key West residents really decorated their homes and businesses, it was fun to look at as well. If you want a picture at the statue, my biggest thing is to GO EARLY!!!!! We arrived around 830am, and thank goodness the line was short, only around 5 mins to wait to take a picture. We walked back to the ship, through Duvall Street, its such a nice street, lots of shops, restaurants, and bars.

This is the best, we walk all day everywhere and had some lobster rolls and Ipswich clams for lunch…

Great time! We did our own walking tour. We saw all the sights and got 30k steps.

We went on the Conch Train. We enjoyed our time in Key West. They took us to key points and than we hopped off the train and explored ourselves. The Butterfly exhibit was beautiful. The roosters and chickens were fun to see and learn about also.

Like the closeness of the port to the ship. Love Key West, we went parasailing and had a wonderful time. Love to explore and shop here, had so much fun
