This was was fourth cruise and second with Carnival. I really enjoyed myself and would definitely travel with Carnival again.
Embarkation

I arrived at the port around 1pm and the crowd was moving quickly and steadily. Room was not ready at this time and the food lines on the Lido Deck were very long. Totally understandable when thousands of folks are getting off from previous cruise and thousands are coming on for the next trip. I actually would like to give a rate of 4 1/2 stars for very good but did not have the option.

I have traveled with other cruise lines so my good rating is actually from comparing the food to other cruises. Food was good, not excellent. However, it was plentiful. Only food review I can give an excellent rating to is Guy's burgers . The best burgers ever!

Unfortunately at this moment I can not recall the name of my room steward but a truly nice and super friendly guy.

Room was always on point but the restrooms on the Lido Deck were absolutely filthy.

Cabin was nice but in comparison to other cruise lines I have traveled on, I have seen better.
Top Ten Miami was a wonderful excursion. Very informative host, Mr. Ignacio. Great way to spend time if you have a late flight. So much better than sitting in airport waiting for a late flight.
So many excellent restaurant choices. My favorite was the Conch Republic Seafood. Strongly recommend to rent a motor bike, to cover the island in it's entirety.
