I love Key West. It is a beautiful town. This is my second visiting. We did not do any excursions. we walked up and down Duvall Street, went to Ripley's Believe It or Not and visited the Truman gardens.

Last week we rented an electric cart for $90 3hrs..worth it...got to drive around town and see the beach..planned on going to Hogfish but was way out on US 1..cars flew by so didn't want to chance it...wasnt able to try seafood like i wanted since we had a short time on the island...oh well..we had fun looking like fools on the cart...

Because of our late departure we had to use the Outer Mole pier on the Naval base and it took a long time to get off the ship. We had to use shuttles and trolleys to exit the ship and drive through the naval base. Funny driver helped make this less of a pain but it takes away some port time. Lunch in town at Two Friends was good. Fresh mahi and tasty rum drinks. Sloppy Joe’s never disappoints with the great drinks, awesome bartenders and cool vibe. Mallory Square is getting too crowded and touristy but we’ve seen KW many times so we didn’t wander too far up Duval this time. This was just a stop before Cuba for us this cruise.

Very nice! We took part in the hop-on-hop off bus and the butterfly conservatory. The tour guides on the buses were excellent and the butterfly conservatory was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Went to Fort Taylor, they have a beach there for $5 per person! Remember to stay on your ships time, It's not the time on your phone. We made that mistake, got to the ship 1 hr earlier than what we thought.

Always a great destination. Have been there several times so didn't do an excursion this time. Rented a golf cart and went to several of the destinations. Be sure and have lunch at Schooner's Wharf. Definitely a locals spot with good food and good entertainment.
