We rented a scooter and did a self guided tour of the island. It was beautiful.

If you’ve never been to Key West I highly recommend the Conch Tour Train. We learned so much information and history. Also Salty Frog for lunch is the bomb. Huge fresh oysters, great service and atmosphere. Priced just right!

I planned a self guided walking tour of Key West which I found online. It included stops at The Little White House, The Cemetery, Earnest Hemingway's House, The Lighthouse, The southern most point, and Sloppy Joe's. It was very convenient from the port. The only cost we incurred was admission to Earnest Hemingway's house as we didn't pay to go into the Little White House museum or the Lighthouse. We were also sure to get some key lime pie.

Did the catamaran/snorkeling tour! Catamaran ride was fine but the snorkeling was a disappointment.. there were jellyfish everywhere .. so within 5 min both legs were covered and burning from them.. rushed back to catamaran to find hives in both legs.. everybody got bitten .. some more than others and some kept swimming.. so no snorkeling at all .. coral reef was not that much to see but again did not last long enough..

We took a trolley tour purchased on the ship. It lasted about an hour. The driver was professional and funny. He made us all laugh and he easily described all the trip highlights. Highly recommended.

We took the trolly to get a quick look around. Walked around the port. Beautiful

No excursions on first stop since it was on a holiday and Coast Ship Museum was closed that my grandson wanted to see. Second time we visited, we rented a golf cart and went sightseeing on our own but was extremely cold that day. We did get to go through the ship and was worth visiting.

I have heard that some other cruise ship dock and you can walk straight into town from another port. Our ship docked on base and we had to take a trolley to town which cut into our time having to travel into town and then having to make sure we caught the last trolly at 12:30 to make it back. Would have much rather been close enough to walk on and off the ship.
