Laid back, fun little town with lots to see and do. Take the conch train to get an overview and get off at the Southernmost point and wander back. Visited Hemingway's house and as a cat lover, enjoyed all the six-toed kitties wandering around. It was mad hot, so I stopped at the Six-toed Cafe for mimosas and lunch. Great food. There are chicks and roosters running around that are hysterical to watch. Stopped at Kermit's Key Lime Pie shop for the best key lime pie ice cream ever. If you like artsy places and don't mind crowds, this place is great.

We loved it here! The beginner stand up paddle boarding was the best. We got to touch and see different sea creatures. The key lime pie at Kermit's was amazing!

This cruise was supposed to go to Cozumel but due to the swine flu outbreak, we were diverted to Key West instead. It’s a beautiful place. We rented a four seater golf cart and just rode around the island site seeing. We enjoyed it and weren’t disappointed that we missed Cozumel this time.

We were here end of August 2018. It was an extremely hot day. We did not book an excursion, just walked around and went to see the Southern Most Point and Mile marker 0. Would love to come back and see more of the museums and things. Beautiful area with friendly locals.

Had an amazing time at this port. We went paddle boarding and had blast. The instructors were very nice and knowledgeable about the historical sites on the drive to the paddle board location.

Mel Fisher's maritime museum tells the story of the ship Atocha and it's treasure. Awesome display of gold and silver, weaponry. Excellent learning tool for children

We got back Saturday and had a really good time. Beware if you do a walking tour, to the southernmost point from the ship pier is 2 miles. It doesn't seem that bad at first, but the humidity! We did fine bcs we stopped at shops and historical highlights, Green Parrot is cool.
