Really cool 😎 town that my mom grew up in and she had lots of fun growing up there! Great port placement since there is no 👎 port in Houston! Go COUGARS!

Great town cool shops Very nice people Great port easy access on and off 🚢 ships highly recommend this port Some neat antique shops locally as well

Not much in walkable distance at this port. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Beach front, it was a little pricey, but the complimentary shuttle was very nice and efficient. We would use this service again.

It's kind of a pain to get to Galveston from Houston. Take an Uber it was SO cheap!

First cruise, for some reason I thought everything was supposed to be bigger in TX? LOL The trip from Houston was a nice nap.

I mean its Galveston, its pretty nice. The important part was that we never got lost or felt like we didn't know where we were supposed to be or go.
