nicer to leave from tampa than FLL or MIA because of the smaller size - not as much confusion

Tampa is a great port! We flew into Clearwater since it was cheaper and took an Ube/Lyft over for about $20-$25. After our cruise we went next door to the Aquarium to kill some time. You can leave your luggage in a locked room there for free when you purchase a ticket. We also went on the Dolphin watching cruise with them and saw many dolphins. There's a trolley that comes around for free as well!

We have visited Tampa in the past, we did not spend a lot of time this time but last year we went to Tampa and enjoyed the Aquarium, Bush Gardens and the beaches nearby.

Not a bad port. Easy to get through the lines. We got dropped off, so can't comment on parking. Friendly staff and clean port. Would sail from here again.

Clearwater is only 45 minutes away, we stayed there after the cruise. With the UBER app on your phone you will save on transportation. The cruise line was efficient!

Like this port better than Miami for driving from Atlanta. Parking is right across from the terminal and was a reasonable price. A little hectic with collecting luggage and check in line, Miami was definitely better for that, but we did self walk off and getting back out was very easy at 8am, back to the car by 8:30 and home to Atlanta before rush hour. Plus lots to see around the port, next time we'll go a day early and check it out.

Take a taxi-you pay the same price for up to four people. The cruise shuttle charges per person.
