Busch Gardens, Adventure island, Florida Aquarium, beaches, museums, historic Ybor City.... Tampa has a lot to keep you busy. Got to the port at 10:30 and was in the boat by 11.

best port by far! I have been cruising out of Galveston, new Orleans, and Miami and Tampa by far had the friendliest people and the most organized!!!!

Lots to do if you want to extend your trip on either end. We did a beach day before our cruise. We had a late flight home the day we debarked and did a day rate stay at the Airport Marriott which was very convenient for airline check in. We had a room to rest in for the day (and somewhere to park our luggage:) ) and access to the pool and many other hotel amenities.

Tons to do! We live in West Palm Beach so we went out on Thursday and went to Clearwater and Busch Gardens!! Great way to start our vacation and birthday celebration!

The disembarkation was fabulous. I have never been on a cruise where they were running an hour ahead of time. Also, this was the first disembarkation where they stacked smaller bags on a platform, and your large bags were below, it kept your bags closer together and easier to find.

Stayed the night before the cruise at Sailport. Use priceline for a great deal, would want to stay there again. Loved the port of Tampa. If you have extra time to burn before your return flight, there is a lot to do around the port, The Florida Acquire, Street Car, shopping strip, WWII ship to tour, all within easy walking distance. They store your bags.
