Spent 3 days in Tampa after my cruise - rented a car and went to St Pete's Beach. Also drove up to New Port Richey for a day to look around. Won $140 at Seminole Hard Rock Casino on the Friday night to cap off my vacation!

We were supposed to dock at Tampa but due to severe winter weather in the gulf and very high seas we were informed onboard for safety reasons that we would dock at Port Canaveral. Royal Caribbean made ship to shore telephone service available at no charge via their swtchboard so all passengers could modify travel arrangements as needed. From Port Canaveral Royal provided ground transportation at no charge for all passengers making connections at Tampa Cruise Port and Tampa Airport. We were able to cancel our Tampa port to hotel shuttle, get a refund and take advantage of out hotel's free airport to hotel shuttle. Four Points by Sheraton was great. While in Tampa we enjoyed Charley's Steak House and used Uber to get to the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. We would definitely enjoy Tampa again.

No excursion, we flew in the day before, saw some family and stayed with a friend, and then proceeded to the port in the morning for embarkation. Very quick process since we purchased FTTF and it was a seamless process, loved it.

Easy in and out port. Lots of discounted parking nearby. Lots of inexpensive Sleep and park hotels with free shuttles as well! Getting on the ship is super fast getting off is also super easy everyone smiling and happy to help you! Grab a porter to help you with your luggage on the way out and you will get to your car even faster!

Nice port! Not enough room to wait before check in and lines. Gets kinda hectic with a smallish port and thousands of people. Workers do a great job making sure everyone’s pumped for vacation! Lines go steady and it’s just a nice easy port to come out of.

Busch Gardens, Adventure island, Florida Aquarium, beaches, museums, historic Ybor City.... Tampa has a lot to keep you busy. Got to the port at 10:30 and was in the boat by 11.
