Loved the size of the ship. Entertainment-Meh. LOVED the Alchemy bar and Bojan, Sinan and Skerdion. Loved Gabriella and Mary Rose at the Atrium Bar.. Loved our service team at dinner too. The excursions we took were wonderful, but the ship was a bit outdated and it was quite obvious the staff had been reduced and the workers had much more on their plate to accomplish. This makes a huge difference in your experience.

Service and Staff

I usually have 5 stars for this, but I can't honestly post this, this time. It is not because the people didn't work hard, its because they have less people to do so much more and as a result the ball was dropped. I didn't get a few of my appetizers a few nights, we waited long times for dinner or between courses.. this is not because the staff was not good, it was because they had so many more tables and with less people. Just a few years ago, we had a number of people working our table. I just felt so bad for how much more of a workload they now have

Love the layout of the ship, but I noticed a lack of bathroom attendants. There was always toilet paper on the floor where people missed the cans on the way out. Also there was a horrible odor in the bathroom by the alchemy bar all week long.
Cabin / Stateroom

We LOVED our suite, but noticed that we both would roll toward the middle of the bed while sleeping as if there was a slight slope. Other than that it would be 5 stars!
Ship tip
I would tell anyone who has sailed before, that this ship is in need of a huge overhaul. If that doesn't bother them, the itinerary makes it worth it. I love this size of ship. Not too small. Not too big. The service and the shape of ship left me disappointed. If you are a first time cruiser, I believe you would really enjoy the experience.
We're sailing on the Miracle in a year, after repositioning, to Alaska. It's going into dry dock in the beginning of 2020. I heard it's getting the food 2.0 upgrades you're talking about. Just cruising my fingers for dive-in-movies.
Really excited about this ship. As you said it looks to be the perfect size. Not too big. Not too small.
