Here we took the Portland by land and sea tour. I am not a fan of the narrated bus tour but some like it. The Schooner ride was FANTASTIC. We were so lucky to have good weather. We saw three lighthouses from Casco Bay. This tour was not narrated but they would answer any questions you asked and welcomed them.

No excursion but wandered the area. Locals were very friendly and the shops were nice. Enjoyed blueberry pie from a local bakery.

Lots of craft breweries. Rented a car and went to Kennebunkport. Enterprise downtown was slow and unorganized, with reservations.

Not special a half hour from home. But the bicycle rentals for 20.00 and the guides map,are priceless even for a local.

Many sites to visit within walking distance of ship. Public transport was close by and rates were reasonable

Did the "Taste of Maine" excursion. We like Portland. The excursion was about seven hours long on bus and boat. Enjoyable with a taste of lobster and apple pie.
