A: Rates are lower, but you never know where you'll be on the ship. So you'll have to wait till the cruiseline assigns your stateroom, which could be a week before you sail. I've only done it twice and lucked out on an aft view balcony

Answered by HeavySeas on January 7, 2024

A: how about an interesting side note? I've read recently that these "guaranteed cabins" are not truly guaranteed and have the (slight) risk of being bumped if the cruise is overbooked. l

A: Park and Cruise. We use them and it’s about half price. They are 6 miles from ship. You pull up. Take luggage and put on the bus- they drop u off right at the ship. Return : you take your luggage to the spot where they take u back to your car. The... y load your luggage too. It’s so easy. Go to website and set it up. You won’t regret it. Ours was 72 bucks for 7 days. Way cheaper than we used the PC The first time it was like 130 for 8 days. Parkandcruiseportcanaveral.com.See More

A: No theme nights at the port of Canaveral, only embarkation and disembarkation. Theme nights are usually part of a cruise. Maybe this would be better to ask on a ship specific posting.

Answered by jcb91777 on December 28, 2023

A: Also check your app. The list dress on there. Check under Things to Know (check each day) and daily around the 5pm time slot.

Answered by PrincessGigi on December 29, 2023

A: Check the app. It may not show up until close to your cruise. Usually listed under Thing to Know (check each day) and sometimes around the 5pm time slot in the daily planner. Typical themes are Dress Your Best, Tropical/Caribbean and White.

Answered by PrincessGigi on December 29, 2023

A: Theme nights are usually one time for the 8 day cruise and it’s on the second night. The cruise line could probably give you more information.

Answered by Ruby13 on December 30, 2023

A: Theme night can be any night that you want it to be, have a awesome cruise out of the port of Canaveral.

Answered by okhappy493 on December 29, 2023

A: Theme nights depend on length of cruise and really can’t be answered as asked. Yes normally there is one or more theme nights but without some info that’s the best I can do.

A: Port Canaveral uses Face Recognition at Passport control, so it is very fast.

Answered by esrescuer on October 27, 2023

A: Pt. Canaveral uses facial recognition at passport control, which makes going through the passport line after disembarking from the ship back in pt. Canaveral is swift & efficient. I have been on 3 cruises from that port since they started using facia... l recognition at passport control, which is how I know that it is way faster than the old way, which was that you would have to wait in line for hours before a CBP officer would have to check your passport before you could leave the cruise terminal & I even have 3 more cruises from Port Canaveral; one for next week & 2 for next yearSee More

A: I can give you a very vague answer. on a Carnival ship some do and some don't. Sometimes you wonder if it's even cooler in the room itself and sometime it's almost chilled down to a desired temperature. they never seem to be truly "refrigerator co... ld". if it's all boxed in keep the cabinet door open and try to have as much air circulation around the unitSee More

Answered by jallaway on February 22, 2023

Answered by pappyandnanna on February 22, 2023

A: Why is this question posted under a Port Of Call, rather than your chat for your ship?

Answered by CruiseQueenNH on February 23, 2023

A: In addition to the airflow solutions, put an ice bucket or ziplock of ice in there when you first put your items in, this will add to efficiency and speed up the process of helping the refrigerator work.

Answered by APOPHIS1989 on February 21, 2023

A: you have the option of taking your luggage off yourself. But, if you set your luggage out for pick up, it will be ready to go within an hour usually. If you are flying out of Orlando International, you would be safe for an afternoon flight.

Answered by memphisblue1966 on February 21, 2023

A: If you walk off with your luggage you can leave as soon as the ship clears. I've found it best to book air & transfers through the cruise line as they usually have the best price and can guarantee your trip.

Answered by Hurder on February 22, 2023

A: The ship might arrive at 8a, but that's not always when they get government clearance to disembark. clearance can be right away (most of the time) or delayed (they longest we've personally experienced was 3 hours). Those carrying off all of their lug... gage start first, being called by deck number or muster station. Those that sent their luggage ahead will be called by their zone # as Customs clears each batch.See More

Answered by maryred on February 21, 2023

A: You might arrive at 8 but even if you walk off it might take an hour or more. The ship has to clear customs before anyone can disembark. Also, if you are going to Orlando airport give your self a lot of time. All the cruise ships drop passengers off... at the same time and the lines to check in are loooong.See More
