The historical village was lovely. The transportation was easily navigated and the shops were numerous. The bus ride through Newport provided us with an easy and cheap way to view the beautiful mansions and the scenic highlights of this historical harbor town.

Great town, needed more time. Houses were fun to see.

we really, really enjoyed Newport, both the tour of large homes and walking around on our own - our guide for the tour was very good.

A CITY OF SAILBOATS. NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DO TOO MUCH. TOURING THE TOWN WITH SUCH HISTORICAL AND NEW HOMES BUT MOST FOR SALE. A TOWN THAT IS TO VISIT AND MAYBE VACATION BUT ONCE IS ENOUGH.

If you have a friend who can get you in, the view from the New York Yacht Club of Narraganset Bay is stunning! Unfortunately it is a "members only" establishment.
