Coming into NYC is always a thrill. We disembarked early and visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Beautiful day to walk.

Have to give NY City 5 stars :) - We've been to the city several times as we live in Upstate NY. The sail in at 5am was beautiful with Verrazano-Narrow lite up- the Statue of Liberty to our left and the Manhattan skyline ahead - beautiful

New York is a great city with great people. Yes it's crowded and sometimes expensive, but you can also find very inexpensive but delicious food everywhere and the people are super helpful. We did not do an excursion in NY because we visit there fairly often. But I do recommend seeing a show and enjoying the great food options!

Just got back home from a Bermuda Trip out of the NY port. The port is large and easy to walk inside. My gf and I traveled by bus to NY which we stayed the night before. We heard parking could cost over $140 for the week. So take that into consideration for travel expense. At our disembarking, we had to walk back to the end of the termal for custom and back to street side. It was also little chaotic inside to figure where to go to exit. Maybe it should be more organized [through the port or NCL]. Overall 3 out of 5 for a decent port. Clean and a lot of shops in the area for last minute pick ups.

As per this app it's been 1106 days since I took this cruise. I will say that I was hesitant at first about leaving from New York and spending so many days at sea. But I have no regrets. I had great traveling companions and accommodations on the ship. I loved that home was only a cab ride away after embarking. The staff was great and I enjoyed the food. My only issue is there wasn't enough late night activities in addition to the club and casino. I don't gamble much and grew tired of the club after my first night. I feel that if you are pulling out of the city that never sleeps there should be a range of things to do after hours like a midnight scavenger hunt, bingo, trivia. Something other than the casino and the club. What are your thoughts?

Loved leaving from NYC. It saved not having to buy airfare. We had no trouble getting from the train station to the the cruise port. And it was so nice to sail right past the Statue of Libery.

New York city is truly the city that never sleeps but please be aware that everywhere is VERY busy and can be quite intimidating. The memorial for 9/11 is truly worth a visit.

I didn't get to roam around, but the New York skyline provided for a nice sail away.

Great port to just get off and on the ship with someone picking you up and dropping you off. Everyone was helpful and the line of cars moved very quick.

The city amazed me. We walked from our hotel clear to time square and central park
