NCL screwed up, poor planning and they could not de-embark us. So we could not see Martha's Wineyard. I would prefer Maine to Martha's Wineyard.

It was wonderful to just have some time to explore the island on our own. Since it's a small destination, it's fairly easy to get a feel of the place on your own.

This is pretty much Cape May for anyone who frequents there. It can be skipped if you do. The carousel was closed like Fort Knox - it is only open on weekends! The rest is gingerbread houses and one street of tee shirt shops and trinket shops. Nothing is of any quality

Loved the bus tour; I would rather have had more bus and less walk around time, but that's just me. I'm rather lazy.

A lot to see. The cottages were well maintained and found to be very interesting.

Quaint little town but don't see why a cruise ship would pull into this port unless they were paid to do so. Only one tender boat available to get 2,000 passengers to port in Martha's Vineyard. The line to get off the ship was 4 decks long. When we did get on tender, we were practically sitting on each others laps. Not much better coming back, they had two small boats from the ship which they packed with passengers again for the return ride.

Waste of time. Everything closes up for the winter and we were "dumped" in the port area of Edgartown for 2 hours with nothing to do.
