Review summary

The ship itself was nice and the service was good. When I first cruised Norwegian, it was really nice. The food was good, the staff was good. Second cruise, then they started having to pay extra for the specialty restuarants. Then this cruise they had you pay extra for the specialty restuarants, then when you got there, there was an extra charge over the specialty restuarant charge to get the menu you wanted. That amounted to $30 extra per person. If I wanted to pay $30 extra, I could go to a resturant at home and have my choice of resturants. Seems like everything was an extra on this cruise.

A lot to see. The cottages were well maintained and found to be very interesting.

Had a very good Clam Chowder at the Keith Brewery

Bar Harbor, Maine

Excellent access to shops, food, and transportation. Must see Arcadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain. The tenders were very disorganized. Stood an hour and 20 minutes in line to return to ship.

Pros: Bar Harbor

Cons: Tenders
