Be careful if you are taking the hotel van to the dock. We thought this would be the best thing to do, and had 3 1/2 hours to get to the ship, but we barely made it. If there are lots of ships taking off on the same day (there were six on this day) and if it is raining (it affects how passengers are picked up and dropped off), you might want to take a cab that will take you directly to your ship. Our van made all the stops and of course, we were the last.

Cruised the Regal Princess out of Terminal 2 in Port Lauderdale. I give the port 5 Stars as it has everything you would want very close by for Embarkation/Disembarkation. The airport ~20 minutes, multiple hotels and all shopping ~1 mile. Did the Swamp Tour Excursion, with airport transfers included, Post-Cruise.

Really enjoy Lauderdale before a cruise. Lots to do and see. Going back there this year for 3 days. Lulu's Bait Shack is a great place to eat with a big menu and nice portions.
