Beautiful city, lots of history. And you have to check out river street sweets !!!! Best pralines around. We also did an hour long carriage tour of the city. Well worth it.

Although we weren't able to spend any extra time in Charleston before this cruise, we have stayed there a couple of times before and have always enjoyed it. I love history so of course I would love Charleston. I also really enjoy seeing all the original architecture of the city and the people are very friendly. We took a ghost tour, shopped at the market, ate at a few local restaurants and spent some time on the beach. I can't wait to visit Charleston again!

Great Port.. Plenty to do..simply relax at beach ..enjoy swimming in water with fish of various colors..or tread short walk to Margaritaville and enjoy swim up Bar✌️

No excursions in Charleston, beautiful area. The port itself was a bit rundown looking but felt safe.

No excursion, but did do the "don't miss the boat room and shuttle to the port. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. If I ever sail out of Charleston again I will stay here. It is nice just having to ride to and from the port and not deal with traffic.

We planned to take advantage of an empty ship and head in to town in late afternoon. Ended up taking a nap and missed the port all together : ( 5-stars because everyone was raving about what a wonderful day they had!
