Review summary

Nice cruise. 5 days is actually plenty. Half moon cay was beautiful for the beach, no real shopping. The ship has plenty to do. Overall it was an enjoyable cruise and the food was great!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
They move you along quickly to check in, it was extremely hot that day. Would've been nice to have some water supplied, especially since you can't bring on water bottles. Word of advice: don't go to deck 9 for lunch on embarkation day, go to deck 5, it's cooler and less crowded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent! Enjoyed morning dining room the most! Also, formal night the dining room is so busy you will likely have to wait.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Many activities! The pool for kids was usually crowded. The ropes course was neat but must be 48", the green and blue slides were extremely fast! The games hosted were always fun!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were fantastic! 80's night was the best!! Very talented singers and performers!!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The kids didn't go to any camps. They stayed with us but enjoyed it very much!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They all were very polite and friendly! My room steward missed some things but when I mentioned them he took care of them immediately.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship took a little while to figure how to get around but they do a great job of keeping things cleaned.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was what I expected. Typical size. I brought things to help keep it organized so we had more space.

Ship tip

Get to shows early! The good seats get taken fast!

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

4 out of 5
No excursions in Charleston, beautiful area. The port itself was a bit rundown looking but felt safe.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
No excursion, just went to free beach. It's a little crowded but still enjoyable. Walk a little farther down beach to find lounge chairs!

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
No excursion, just shopping. Everyone hounds you which is annoying. The straw market is great for souvenirs. They hound you in there for sure though!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Typical lines and the drink machine was broken which got the people in front of us all upset.
