Take the railroad excursion if the weather is good. The sights are incredible provided it is not too cloudy.

It's only three and a half hours from Seattle. Any stop in Alaska would have been better.

This is a city. The excursions are pricey, but walking around is nice.

We loved the big city feel yet it still felt like a small town. Very multicultural. We were more at home here because we discovered multiple book stores. This is more our type of shopping. We met a local author who shared his stories. Loved it....even got some autographed childrens books.

Very short only 4 hours in port. Doesn't allow for time to really explore.

We didn't due a ship excursion, but lucked into an evening tour in front of the Empress Hotel. It was great and a lot less money.
