Best port stop of the trip in our opinion. Booked our own excursion off ship and was happier with the results than the Princess packages previously purchased.

It was a beautiful city but we barely had any time there, and the time we did was mostly dark. We booked the tea and I think it was the best for the time we were there. You can't see gardens at night!

So surprising, what a beautiful town to stroll. We walked into town, about 20 minutes, but the stroll along the river is beautiful and well kept. Gardens and buildings were so pretty. Safe at night.

Absolutely Beautiful Place. Weather was equally beautiful at 80 degrees when we went. Bushart Gardens were very nice as was Craggdaroch Castle. Wish I had more time to explore the shops along the waterfront. Waterfront was very pretty with all the restaurants and shops and off course the famous Empress Hotel.

Very little time and the shuttle tour was not as advertised. No downtown stop and no option to get off downtown. Mostly a residential tour that was not good.

Do not take the Butchart Gardens tour in the evening - not worth the money - too dark to appreciate the beauty of the garden.

I have visited this port serveral times before and I know it's beautiful. This time I just walked around places near the cruise ship docks. I did not do an excursion.
