Went to Butchart Gardens. Beautiful even in October. Took a Princess excursion and the bus driver told us about Victoria and the sites along the way. Very informative. Victoria is a good port for walking. We walked from town back to the ship; it takes 30-45 minutes.

Was worried about this one because it was night and raining when we got there for a short period. We did the night tour of Butchart gardens. Absolutely recommend this. Beautiful! They light gardens at night, provide umbrellas, have a nice gift shop and coffee shop.

We were in port from 7:30 to 11:30 at night. We walked 15 min to Fisherman’s wharf but the stores and restaurants were closing. Downtown was too far to walk for us and it was getting dark so we turned around and went back to the ship. There are water taxis at the wharf starting at $7.

Love this place. I would totally live here. Beautiful city. Again. GET A CAB!!! We got a cab and went to Bouchard Gardens before it opened, and spent an hour in the park by ourselves. It was amazing, As we were leaving, we saw the busses pull in and the hordes of people. Also, you can just buy tickets at the Gate, no need to preorder through a travel agency. We also went to the Butterfly Garden (awesome, especially if you have kids), and had tea at the Princess hotel (great!!!)

Not enough time like everyone had mentioned. Ship was late. Everyone rushing to get on the buses to get into town. Most of the stores were closed and the ones that were opened were packed along with the pubs were packed and not enjoyable. We walked around for about a hour and went back to the ship.

The was a fun port but we were only there for an evening. I wish it was longer. We walked into town, but by the time we got there we wished we had maybe gotten a shuttle, which required cash which we didn't have.

Better than I thought it would be. I wish that we arrived earlier. It is a long walk to downtown. If you go, get the Chocolate Maple Cream cookies. They're about $7.
