The only reason I say this is because the air quality at this time is very poor due to the fires in I believe they said Canada. It was very foggy. Did not actually get to see much even though we should have had a full day but because of delays at the airport we did not get there until the evening.

I saw and encountered more homeless in Seattle then in any other American city. We were at an outside restaurant when about fifty feet away a homeless person decided to pee in front of the patrons. In the old part of the city where the underground trip was horrble for the sidewalks smelled of urine and there were power washing crews trying to eradicate the stench.

We enjoyed SW and stayed over an extra night. We rented a car and road around shopping, dining and a movie.

We toured the city on our own . Neither of us were impressed with Seattle . It seemed a little run down and very industrial . We enjoyed taking the light rail for $6.00 round trip ! What a bargain !

facilities getting into and out of pier area is too congested. Poor infrastructure. The terminal feels like we are in an old WWII era facility, Loud, crowded and frenetic with lots of lines.
