We loved Seattle and everything about this wonderful City..Pike’s Markets and the fish stalls were marvellous especially where they throw the salmon etc.. Colombia Tower views from the 73rd floor were out of this world.. would visit Seattle again anytime...

Seattle is one of our favorite cities to visit. I highly recommend getting the Seattle City Pass, it gives you a bunch of fun activities to do for a great price. We went up in the space needle, went to the aquarium on the pier, the EMP museum near the space needle, a cruise tour of the bay and the Chihuly gardens next to the space needle, all on the city pass.

Seattle was wonderful lots to do and all within walking distance we stayed at the historic Ace Hotel. My husband and son want to go back to Seattle just for the pizza across the street from the Ace.

As a port to visit, it was very crowded - and I really hate crowds. My wife on the other hand, loves it and enjoyed the market area immensely. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The monorail to the Space Needle was pretty cool and not expensive. Unfortunately the Needle was also crowded and had no rides to the top available for several hours so we skipped it. *** Important note: when we arrived back in Seattle after the cruise, we paid $65 on a credit card to a company that was offering rides back to the airport or hotel. They were located within the port terminal just before you walk out onto the sidewalk so they were legitimate. They assured us that we could come back at 3pm (it was only about 10am when we booked the car) and have a car waiting for us. Sure enough, 3pm we're back and there is no car. No one around had any idea what we were talking about. Fortunately, one of the port employees saw us and took the time to understand our situation. She was able to get in touch with a rep from the transport company and she went "above and beyond" to make the situation right. In a short time we were back at our hotel near the airport. "Cindy" you ROCK!

It was the last day of our holiday and we did the Seattle tour with airport drop off as we had a later flight. After about ten minutes from the port ,the coach broke down. After quite some time another coach arrived to pick us up but all the luggage had to be left on the first coach and we were told our original coach will be fixed and would pick us up after we visited the space needle at a given time , of course it didn't turn up and over half an hour after the stated time a different coach picked us up, minus our luggage and dumped everyone at a market. At last our original bus turned up once again late with luggage and took everyone to the airport we missed most of the tour due to this but we were glad to be reunited with our luggage and at the airport in time for our flight.

It was ok. We were made to sit outside because all of our people were not there and when others found out they were upset and we should have not been told to wait outside. They had us come in and wait.
