We took the trolley that provided a 90 minute overview of the City including a Mission, some of the famous hotels, and some landmarks. It was $22 and tickets could be purchased a short walk from the end of the pier. We found the ship excursions to be hugely expensive here. There are wineries with tasting opportunities in town so don't feel like you necessarily have to spend the big bucks to go to the winery if tasting is what you are interested in.

This port canceled due to weather, docked 2 days in San Diego with ships stores etc closed. Nothing close to ship and few wheelchair activities available. Worse cruise ever, but not under the crews control. Wrong time of year for this area.

Totally enjoyed the whale watching excursion. It was awesome!! Did not like having to wait in long line for tender boats to return back to ship.

We did the excursion for the tour of the city and to see some celebrity homes. All we saw were hedges. The guide kept saying “so and so lives over there somewhere “ We had a rest stop in a place where nothing was open and then a security guard asked if we were protestors.
