Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We used anytime dining. I'd give the food a B rating. Menu had limited options, but always included vegetarian dishes and a sugar free dessert!

Entertainment

3 out of 5

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Would have scored higher except for dining room service issues.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
A large ship which is very well maintained. The central atrium is opulent. After a week, I was still using the map to find specific areas. The gangplanks were not appropriate for Americans with Disabilities. We had several wheelchair users and quite honestly - I don't know how they came ashore at certain ports. Elevators would pass floors while you waited - with 15 floors, people will use elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Mini suite with balcony were spacious, by cruise ship standards. Balcony was uncovered on Dolphin Deck(deck 9) with decks above peering down. Had several problems with room and steward had all issues resolved in a timely manner. Biggest concern was the shower/tub - need to be agile to step out of tub - also height above tub was approx. 6 feet .

Ports of call

Liberty Theatre, trolly

San Francisco, California

So much to see! Alcatraz, Disney Family Museum, dining . . . just beautiful!

Pros: Ports we visited! Time was given for exploration

Cons: Service in the 'makeshift' premium dining room. Server disappeared for long stretches. We spent 2 1/2 hours, much of which was waiting for service.
