Review summary

Loved that the ship dropped for us in Los Angeles rather than San Diego. This made getting how more convenient. We'll be back. Food was great, help was great.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was great. We enjoying Vancouver rather than sitting in the waiting room. We were almost the last people to board which made it a great experience. All were professional, friends, swift, and courteous. Difficult being out by 7:45 a.m. But I understand the reason why.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main and specialty dining rooms were very nice. Buffet not as nice, but it was a people thing not issues about staff or food choices. Although, I really enjoyed the mushroom omlette and wished for more options in the omlette category. My Sister had one issue with wine list not 100% representating actual wine that came in the Share restaurant. Perhaps that can be corrected. Wine lists good overall. Was a little disappointed that wine had to be purchase in the sushi bar area to get good sushi. Also stopped ordering mixed drinkes after two as they were on the weak side.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The only activity I tried and would have enjoyed more was the spä but it wasn't hot enought on deck.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Saw the comedian who wasn't all that funny. Saw Chef and Maitre D Hotel skit findng it hilarious. Enjoyed staff talents during intermission. Corey was a keeping, great in everything he did. Saw magician/? And found it a great show. Saw Alaska presentation, took notes, but trashed them by mistake. Bummer as I expect that'll be my next cruise. Please forward pros and cons for each month as that's what my notes were about, if possible. Bánd Duo 2 was good, not great.

Children's Programs

I was impressed at the available 5options, but didn't praticipate in any of them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Five plus stars. Everyone was helpful, courteous, professional, and a joy to be around. The female bartender in the Explorers Lounge was my personál favorite. My goal this cruise was to find the trick to easily finding my way to different activities on different floors. She taught me that. You might want to create a "How to find your way around the ship 101" for new cruisers. My cruise goal was achieved on Wednesday and I couldn't be happier about this.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The communication areál were clean and well-maintained. No complaints except there was a little mold in our tub/shower.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Bed was awesome, shower seemed a little narrow, plenty of storage space, missed that frig didn't freeze top shelf, didn't like that I couldn't iron in room, missed that Ice area didn't have soda machine, didn't like that we had to go retrieve our gifts purchased by Husband to surprise us, cabin was well cares for, and Roger was a awesome (kind and helpfull).

Ship tip

I would educate them on how to get around easily. Floor 7 then up or down is the key.
