Love sailing from San Francisco. So much better than sailing from L.A. You pass all the iconic landmarks as you sail out of the bay. (Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Easy on and off. The exursion, hop on- hop off, needs a stop on the other side of the bridge. The closest pick up after walking across the bridge is extremely far with rocky roads. Much of the joy was gone. There was not enough time to go and enjoy anywhere else. I would advise against it if you want to walk the bridge.

Expect cold weather and choppy weather no matter what time of year.

Just got on the ship here. Not one of my favorite cities as over the years it becomes dirtier and dirtier

The tour would have been better in daytime, not night. Live and learn.

Did the Alcatraz excursion. Very informative. Didn’t realize all of the history of the Prison. Definitely didn’t no anything about the Native American occupation in 1969.
