Loved what we saw of San Francisco and we have plans to make a visit for an extended period of time in the future.

This was a nice port. I went on an excursion to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Again, my first trip there and we didn’t have have nearly enough time. We took the Alcatraz tour which was awesome! It was very well narrated and was so interesting! We also went on the SunsetCruise which was a wonderful tour which ended at the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. Beautiful! We also tried the Hop On, Hop Off bus tour. If you are unfamiliar with the city I wouldn’t recommend this tour. When we got off the bus to visit a place you would have to figure out exactly where it was and then after walking to it you would have to figure out where the closest bus stop was to continue the tour. The bus stops are not marked and the map was only marginally helpful. The result is a lot of walking taking up a lot of time and not many places visited. Chinatown was a bit underwhelming for me. Next time I would take Uber to the special places of interest to me.

The renovations to the port have done wonders, its easy to navigate with out much thinking. Embarkation line for us was less then 30 mins from entering the building to Deck 7 to be scanned.

We took the ship excursion to Muir Woods and Sausalito. The tour guide Len was excellent. He allowed an unscheduled stop to allow some of us to get off the bus before returning to port so we wouldn't have to walk back to Fisherman's Wharf. Muir Woods was awe inspiring when you think about the size and age of the trees. Very easy to navigate (wood walkway over most of the trail). Wish we had had more time to hike to the ocean. Sausalito was a pretty viewpoint for the Oakland bridge and San Francisco. I am not much of a shopper so this part was not so grand. Tour left plenty of time to explore San Francisco once you return.

Once again I purchased a hop on hop off bus tour ticket to see San Francisco; but this time it was through Celebrity. The buses were comfortable; and the staff was very helpful and courteous. It was nice to be able to actually enjoy the ride and the city!

Of course. We live just south of this city so we visit regularly. So much to do there isn't room here.

Soooooo gorgeous, so much to see and do! Grateful for the overnight. Get a HOP ON HOP OFF CITY SIGHTSEEING pass, you’ll be glad you did.
