We have been to San Diego many times so we opted to just walk around the waterfront and Gas Lamp District. For someone who hasn't been here before there are several wonderful options.

We don't ventuire too far in San Diego, but we went to Searport Village and had a great time. Lots of shops and places to get food and snacks.
