walked, ate ice cream and lunch. It was a beautiful stroll, no need really for golf cart. A bit pricey for trinkets, but if you look you can find a deal.

We did the scavenger hunt (on your smartphone) with a rented golf cart and it was a blast! I felt it was way better than going on the prescribed "scenic route" that the golf cart rental company hands out, it felt a lot more fun.

Make sure you budget at least an hour and a half to return to the ship. The line for returning was very long.

No excursion, but strolling around picturesque Avalon is fun. Also, good shopping and great seafood restaurants are all over the beach area.

I didn't do an excursion, but I enjoyed the ride on the tender boat, walked up Crescent Avenue, bought a Kahlua Espresso milkshake at Scoops, and sat on a bench overlooking the beach and just watched people swimming, relaxing, walking, and parasailing. So relaxing!

We rented a golf cart and followed the guided map provided and really enjoyed ourselves! Lots of places on the route to stop for pictures and see the quaintness of the island. We were able to stop and grab a bite to eat before heading back to the ship! Was a neat place to spend the day, or a couple hours anyway!

I had a great time Geocaching on my own. Found a few unique sites around the port. The only thing I would have done differently is rent a golf cart because I didn’t realize it would be that hilly.

We loved Catalina Island. We took a golf cart around the island, visited some shops, and ate a wonderful lunch.

Such a cute city little city! Bring a sweat or light jacket for when the wind picks up later in the day.

A nice little town. We rented a golf cart and drove around the island. If you want to visit the island, I suggest leave as soon as the cruise ship allows. On our way back the water was very choppy. The tender had to try several time before they can let us on the cruise ship. Afterwards they stopped tender all together.
