We did the hop on hop off (HOHO) self tour of the mansion and museums. Interesting. We had toured the battlefield a few years ago on our own.

Did the included hop on hop off in am, then a paid excursion in afternoon to visit Vicksburg battlefield. Great tour, lots of history.

Fabulous trip to the battlegrounds. Excellent guide. Also visited the USS Ciaro, an old ironclad gun boat from the Civil War. Very interesting!

So much history here in a city where residents hid in caves to escape over 40 days of attack during the Civil War. Also tour the M/V Mississippi to the left of where the ship docks.

A loop shopping experience was offered and a walking tour to with a stop at the Coca Cola Museum, a visit to the Duff Green Mansion, the famous Vicksburg National Museum.

stop by the Mulberry hotel and Jackson Square Art Gallery which is just down the levy on the right from where the ship docks. Crafts and a bar available for purchase.
