Review summary

Cruise was perfect. The ship accommodations, friendly staff and excellent food and cocktails were great. I especially liked the daily happy hour in the mail lounge from 5-7 with wonderful appetizers and full bar service. We usually went to dinner at 7 and then back to the lounge for the evening entertainment and a night cap at 8:30. Shows were excellent and varied. Another highlight was the daily watercolor painting classes. Definitely one of my favorite cruises.

Wonderful. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We stayed at the intercontinental hotel in New Orleans the night before which was included in our package. There was a morning breakfast meet and greet and then a bus tour of Nee Orleans with drop off at the ship in time for lunch

There was a daily watercolor painting class that was wonderful. We painted art of local subjects. Miss Mary the instructor was extremely helpful and encouraged beginners to give it a try. Most of the class returned every day it was so much fun.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Local entertainment from the town you were docked came on board every evening. The variety and talent level was excellent.

Service and Staff

40 staff to 130 guests made it outstanding. Friendly and helpful staff that were obviously well trained.

Ship Quality

Excellent layout and extremely clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

350 square feet makes it very comfortable. Every room has a sliding glass door to a private deck with tables and chairs. Bathroom and shower are full size. Best cruise ship room we have ever had.

Ship tip

Bring comfortable walking shoes. The small towns are wonderful to explore on your own time.

Well organized with options for everyone. We had time before our flight so we took the New Orleans gardens tour bus that dropped us off at the airport by 12 noon.
