Review summary

The Mississippi River was at flood stage the whole trip, but it didn’t really affect this cruise too much. Except for docking tied to trees at one point! Interesting to see river at that stage.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
With only 400 passengers, embarkation extremely easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The best fine dining we have had on a cruise ship! Included in the main dining room.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Not many onboard activities. We were out and about most days. There were talks every day by the Riverlorian, which were interesting.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Small entertainment group of 4 with the ships band. They performed every evening. One of the best entertainment crews we have enjoyed considering it was the same entertainers every evening.

Service and Staff

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was comfortable, clean and had nice size bathroom. Lots of storage. It was small. No sofa, just small desk chair. Queen bed. Opened to an “open” veranda which meant people walking by your cabin. Not much privacy and the walls are thin. We were in a category C. I would recommend a private veranda.

Ship tip

Enjoy and just relax!
