Be sure to visit the Garden District. Take the Street Car up St. Charles all the way to Audubon Park and Tulane University. Enjoy the beautiful homes along St. Charles. If you have a car, just drive around that areas and admire the beautiful homes. Have a memorable meal at Commanders Palace on Washington.

No mask mandate in the hotels scared us, but our pre-cruise dinner steamboat cruise on "City of New Orleans" blew me away. Make sure to purchase the VIP package. You'll thank me later.

Loved NO. Traffic was terrible due to Mardi Gras. Parking wasn’t planned well. We were forced to pay $140 for parking and then led to an open muddy field for parking. The parking garage was full but they didn’t tell us this at all. Instead they took our money, let us sit in the garage for an hour and then transferred us to an over flow field with little explanation.
