Awesome port that has got it down on how to load a large ship with lots of vacation hungry passengers.

We stayed 2 days before our trip to so that we could experience Bourbon Street and everything else great City of New Orleans has to offer Bravo I would definitely come back to New Orleans

Nice, but weather changed our plans to spend time there on our return. Due to tropical storm Barry, we returned to Mobile instead. Carnival did a super job busing people to where they needed to go. I give them a 5+ on this.

Loved this port. Easy to get to, easy to embark. Also loved that you take hours getting down the river to get out to sea. Really made for some great pictures.

Get there a day or two early and explore the city. You need to go to the French Market. We had a blast there.

The port was about a 20 min drive from the airport, and really didnt take any time at all. Embarkation went very fast and smoothe for how long the line was to get onboard. We got to stay in the French quarter and tour new orleans the day we got back from the cruise. Absolutely a beautiful city and has alot of history, and a heavy european influence which made the city even more interesting!

I'm from Louisiana, so I recommend the French Quarter and Cafe Du Monde to everyone!

A lot of things to do in New Orleans. I recommend staying in New Orleans a couple of days before or after the cruise to take in all the sights.

New Orleans is what you make of it. It is, perhaps, one of the dirtiest cities in the U.S. but also one of those bucklist cities. Visit Bourbon St, if only to say you did it. Eat fresh seafood. Learn of New Orleans History.
