This was my first time to New Orleans and I loved it! We did a city tour (bus) and a haunted tour (walking). I found both entertaining and educational and would recommend both. Oh the food!! So many choices, so little time. Try something different at each meal.

French Quarter smelled out sewage and very dirty, don't consider eating there. Highly recommend visiting Garden District.

This is the home port. We stayed 2 days prior to the cruise.

No fault of NCL, but the traffic was simply horrible on the Sunday we arrived around noon. The parking lot was great, no worries about your car at all if you are willing to pay the $140 for the week.

Need to do something about traffic at the port. Too much congestion

The Mardi Gras Excursion to the Blake Hotel balcony was pricey, but well worth it. Ship was docked in a perfect location.

Great port and if you book at the Hilton there at the pier you will have no trouble at all

It was good. We just were so unused to the humidity that we didn't do all that we would have liked.
