I am from Louisiana but the baggage was very organized... everything ran smooth as long as you had the proper paper work and documentation.

We left out of New Orleans and that is where I am from it was very easy to find and easy to access and very easy to find parking accommodations however they are expensive.

we love New Orleans & spent 2 days there before the cruise. look for a stay & cruise deal at hotels to avoid high parking cost at terminal.

We did lots of tours. None that we purchased through the ship or through cruiseline.com There is a lot of things to do in New Orleans though. Lots of really good food.
