Took no excursion here. Columbia River Maritime Museum is really worth seeing, I had no idea how many ships have been lost at that river's mouth. Also tour of old lightship was fascinating.

Very quiet town, the trolly ride was the most fun, not too much to do there, but it was nice

We went 2 hours to Mount St. Helens which was well worth our time. We only saw the town of Astoria on our way back to the ship, so cannot comment on the town and surrounds.

We didn't get to stop in Astoria due to weather. I was looking forward to the bar crossing, which is a technical feat in which a pilot is brought aboard by boat or more often by helicopter. For history buffs, this is the end of the Oregon Trail, the Lewis and Clark Expedition, etc.

Did an excursion. It was ok, but the ship was very unorganized and made a mess of things

Not many shore excursions here. Just walk around the docks. Take a picture of the ducks. Walk, walk then go back to the ship and eat.

honestly, there wasn't as much that we wanted to see because it was very village like and didn't interest us very much. Plus the weather was aweful
