Review summary

The interior design of the ship was horrendously gaudy. They spared no expense with the pink paint and lights. It was very 1960s. The service staff was not very helpful and the buffet was actually bland and they ran out of food often. However, there were some impressive pluses to this cruise. The rooms were a little larger than other cruise lines. The dinner service was outstanding - the meals were very good and the staff and maitre 'd danced and sang every night. It was a lot of fun.

Ports of call

Astoria, Oregon

The city was pretty small and there wasn't a whole lot to do. Can't blame the city or the ship for this. It was a late-minute addition to the itinerary.

Simply beautiful. The people were friendly and it was definitely a port that you could just walk around and enjoy all there is to see in this charming Canadian city.
Don't Miss: Buchard(sp) Garden

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

There is no waste of time here either. Another beautiful city. There is an endless amount of things to do. We decided to take the subway (skytrain) and just see the city that way. A very nice city and port, especially considering how large the city is.
Don't Miss: Take your pick

Pros: the dinner service

Cons: all of the interior
