I loved Astoria. I recommend riding the trolley first thing to get the lay of the land and local history. Astoria has many very good micro breweries within walking distance of the ship pier.

I enjoy walking into town and touring the Flavel Mansion. Then a cafe for coffee.

Very nice town. The Marine Museum was very good and well worth the visit. Great Lewis and Clark points of interest.

Loved the place, such friendly people, walked to the maritime museum and had a mooch around the shops. Found a great cake and coffee shop, what’s not to like?

This is a great walking port. There is a trolly that goes along the waterfront if you don't want to walk. It gets crowded and you may need to stand. There are some good excursions, but we didn't take any because we have been to Astoria area before.

We really enjoyed this city and took a tour to the Maritime Museum and Fort Clapson. The tour guide was excellent.
